I am building up a 1976 Pontiac Catalina Safari and I have been having extreme difficulty locating a weatherstrip kit for the clamshell tailgate. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well this is my third attempt to answer you so I hope the other two don't show up.
Steel Rubber Products http://www.steelerubber.com/ have weather strip for a lot of old cars but I don't know if they have any thing that will be a direct fit for your car. Sometimes something generic can be adapted. Send them an email and keep your fingers crossed
