1979 Pontiac Trans Am has an olds 403 got a set of no#5 heads to put on off of a 68 cutlass 350 got them ready to go on new seats valves springs question is this when I call for head gaskets which to use the ones for a 403 or a 350 they are different I was told by jegs and summitt they cann't say which to use and the intake gaskets are also different using stock intake which edelbrocks performer is a copy cat of.

Thanks JD

I think the only difference in gaskets is the head bolt hole size.

You may need to bore out the bolt holes in the head because the 403s use half inch head bolts. Try dropping a 403 head bolt through your #5s.

That would mean order the 403 gaskets.

Don't take this as gospel.... check me out.

I like the Mr Gasket Ultra Seal intake set, stock type metal bathtub gaskets kinda suck. The difference in intake gaskets is probably the exhaust crossover. You may need the early manifold to match the 350 heads.
