hey everyone just went to the world of wheels car show here in illinois MAN,was it awesome! what a relaxing way to spend time on a cold rainy day here in the midwest, lots and lots of ponchos had a car corral with several gtos for sale and i mean survivor cars! one was a 70 4spd in carolsel red rally 11's. lots of swag with a free bag (you know the deal!) saw a 65 gto drag car capable of mid 8's with a 535 indian adventures block, bop motor plate and appeared to be normaly aspirated in the dragrace display, i held my head high and said to the owner hows it feel to run a pontiac type engine in a pontiac? he said :I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! got a vibe the hobby is alive and well during these "lean times' took me and my buddy about 5 hours of browsing, talking, and rubbing shoulders with some of the most talented builders in the nation and every single one of them was walking around (beer in hand) laughing joking and answering questions. thats what i like to see NO INFALTED PERSONALITIES. if you get a chance to go do it! it sure cures cabin fever people!
