Okay, I know this song is definately different!! But I will have to get it because of my love for 67 GP's. And who ever hears songs about them or ever saw a car modeled after them? Anyway, hope all of you can appreciate the song...like I said, it is definately different, but kinda cute...

Guess who just lost all credibility.
Edit: 5/8/11 9 AM I know what I meant by this and I see how it came out after reading it this morning. You all would have to have some guy rapping about holding up stores and driveby shootings while pointing at you to understand where I'm coming from. This is what I was dealing with yesterday, and the remark was a result of seeing "Dirty North" doing the same thing. I respect you all and y'all know ten times what I know about working on cars - so again, sorry.
So I guess I'm refering to myself.

Happy Easter,
I hope that was "Dirty North" going south down the toilet, because my unnessary remark certainly was not directed at my friends on this forum.
After an all day session of dealing with a "Gangsta Rap" group in my recording studio Saturday, I was looking forward to getting on the forum for some sanity. And that guy driving the GP had the exact same attitude.
Patti was big enough to make a thread called Apology, so I will do the same - sorry Patti, and sorry gang.
Matt, I enjoyed yappin' with ya last night.

Hope you find all the eggs today, Joey. I stand by my first post. Me and Pman dig/share stuff like that song sometimes. I'm like Patti- how many times is there a song about your exact model of car?

That song had very little to do with the actual car. To those idiots they could have just as easily been driving a Caddy, a Lincoln, a Buick, whatever. But, they inherited a '67 GP from their parents, so that's what they decided to rap about, poorly. I do not like the genre of rap or hip-hop to begin with, but man this didn't really do anything for me.
I currently know of two rap songs worth listening to due to their profound lyrics, and that's the only reason. This had no lyrics, no music, just a group of idiots in a cool old car. They don't even know what's under the hood, or a piston from a spark plug LOL.
Uhhhh what is the world coming to? There are lots of cool car songs, this, IMO, is not one of them. Sadly, we're reduced to listening to crap like this today to satisfy our car songs. The Beach Boy's Little GTO is long gone...

The best 3 rap songs were "Whomp there it is" & remake of "Wild Thing" by Tone Loke (spelling?) the mixed song by Aerosmith & Run DMC "Walk this way" wasn't too bad either. I didn't care for the GP song, but opinions will vary. I don't have to listen, I can always turn it off. If you like it great it's your song. 3836bbl/Budnicks
Allways "fill your library before you fill your garage" by the book "how to build a ____" or " how to tune a ____" you fill in the blanks.
