TH350 and TH400 Torque Converters: Interchangeable?

My question is thus:
Are torque converters really interchangeable for TH350 and TH400 transmissions? I'm going to be switching around a bit and testing both transmissions in my application (1974 Lemans 455). The custom built 1500rpm stall torque converter remains the same spec for either transmission. Can I just get one torque converter for my Pontiac or do I have to get two for this testing process?

Th350 and 400 use the same converter
