Hey, I have a 60 Ventura with the 389, mild cam, and heads and intake from a 400. I just bought a edelbrock 750 carb for it and I was thinking about getting an aftermarket intake. Iv found a good deal on a preformer, torker, and torker ll. I'm building this car to be a fun car to beat on and put some mustangs and rice burners to shame. I'd love you get into the high 13s. Any suggestions??

Your intake and cam should be matched for the rpm range in which they work the best. A "mild cam" is usually idle-5000 rpm, and I believe that's the range the Performer (not the Performer RPM) is designed for.
