figured since i was at this table long enough to grow a beard i could put pics and progress stuff up.and ask some quetions as well.first hood tach question maybe there another out there like it?It is a 8 grand tach,it has a ajustable pointer on it.any ideas i see reprodutions with no adju pointer?

Glad you started a thread on your project. You know I like pics and bodywork!
That tach could be a Dixco. They can be found on Ford and Mopar also but are aftermarket.
They have em at The Parts Place for about two bills:

thats it lol shiz lol thought i had somethin!lol bodyguy comin he is the best!goin to point me in rite direction on windsheild.fender he has but bad he said need a lot to fix it.

drivers,he patchd old 1 but man is it toast!!!and need drvers grill.got 2 pass sides.got any of these????

sup gangs bird is comin along.computor all acting like a ford so its broke lol got pics but will be a while.got new sub frame in and paintd,new bushing thru out,today was qtr glass new weather strip,cleand some dirty glass and chrome.between getn 350 on stand all other stuff need to tear down and do a check up on it.455 old is in short block form.alum heads on the way for it also.just lettn ya all know im still here and still plugn away.tty gang

so took off head on 350 wow its so full of rust beyond repair titanic is in better shape!well fck!just keeps getting better!!!lol

ok comp is almost ready so no pics yet but i did get 1970 YS 400.new sub is in and painted.like a poor mans biuld lol it makes it more fun that way lol

But you have (2) great young people to help you! Keep those youngsters involved, and go to kinko's, and have name tags made up with their names on it. Label it Future Gear Heads...LOL...
They will love you for it. My granddaughter when I worked on the race Cars. she was always there with me. She was (7) years old. She's 19 now, and in College. She also asked when I was going to work on the Cars? I always gave her a screw driver or wrench so she felt important to the team. They grow up too fast!

Ok guys and gals ive done some searchin and stuff.it has an 8.2 rear width is 54.5 plate to plate.s10 is 8.5 is 53 and 5/8,3" mounting im usumeing plate to mounting plate.8.5 posi unit easier to come by.also in my search 72 thru 74 8.5 is a bolt in? so any insight is great lol need a posi in pontiac world lmao.got dr glass in qtr glass in pass side needs a window giude roller thingy so ill order it fri.glass has a greenish tint and the lil birds in glass cool lol windows are worth more than the car lol aint seen any like it.goin to look at .30 forged pistons too,get a price.sat will be a yard day he has a 67 camaro he said is posi but its a burnt mess bury'd up to the trunk.also S10 4 wheel drive rears are 60"plate to plate.dont want to have a 80's look tires stickn out.lol
