Why didn't you have screw in rocker studs installed when you had the heads cut ?

To use scorpion rockers you must have 7/16 non bottle neck studs . Are the heads installed yet ?

Thats an area that really takes a beating. If the oil supply is adequate. Then I would use the Scorpians. I haven't used them, but the Dyno reesults my buddy Dave said they are Okay. He told me to make sure there is adequate room between the Retainer and the Rocker Arm .060. They will take RPM, so don't be afraid to spin that Big Block. MERRY CHRISTMAS Bob

That's not entirely true. Contact Harland Sharp, they make roller rockers with the underside cut to clear the stud boss and they come in 3/8 as well.

It's not hard to tap the holes and use screw in studs. If you plug the holes with rags and use a shop vac you should be able to do it on the car.
