Hey to all the Reg's been a long and trying year, from the verge of bankruptcy to expansion in 12 short months. Not something i recommend for the weak of heart. Anywho, I am back, started construction last month on a new Shop space as the Tempest has become landlocked since driving season and it's getting too precarious for my liking.

The new digs is a 32'x48' 10' sidewalls, pole barn, mansard roof (barn style), 24' of loft for my new office with clean room (Tempest's home) and fabrication room under, fully finished with forced air heat. The other 24x32 is vaulted for a 7' lift and fully open, for the moment this will be warmed by a 55 gallon double barrel wood burner with forced air unit. Exterior finish is all steel and matches the house, had to get variances for setback so it held me up a month or it would be finished. Heres some pics along the way, more to come....can't wait to start wrenching on cars again.

PS: Braz theres a little rendering in there of my next project, parts are all on the shelf just need the space to work and time to dive into it....not a Pontiac but it's gonna be a 5,000 budget (1/4 of a Pontiac...lol) and i do have my eye on a 70' GTO w/judge trim that i may buy paint and try to flip while i enjoy it if i can get it for the right price. (MORE TO COME)

i will be pouring the finished side with concrete in the next few weeks so i can get the office and clean room finished. shop area will probably be crushed stone compacted until i find a deal on a two post lift and a few extra grand for the concrete (fall maybe). makes it a hell of a lot easier when you have a 6 man crew at your disposal, but it drains the pocket book none the less. Nice thing is i will recoupe cost within 3 years by the rent my corporation will pay monthly for the space...<grin>, win/win.
