I have a 71' G/P that I would like to install 4 wheel disc brakes. Does anyone know who make an entire "kit" for the car?? Do I need to switch the front spindles also???? I would like to use a set of stock wheels off of a 84' T/A (16x8)as an upgrade also. Can I make this work?

I haven't used this kit but its an example of whats out there. You would want to call them and discuss what you need, but the whiz-bang kit is around $1,500. You can probably use your spindles but they may need to know if yours have a bolt on steering arm or not. And you would also want to be sure if you have the BOP type 8.2" rearend. Same parts as a GTO.

the 16x8 wheels off of a 89 t/a work fine on my 69 grand prix.
do you plan on up grading the front also?

Double check the offset on those OE wheels. I had a set of 16s off an IROC that were front and rear specific and they worked on some A-bodies but didn't fit others. Never tried them on my GP. I think if you stick with 12" front rotors you'll be OK, but 13"ers will probably require 17" wheels.

matt your right about the offset. 1/2" differents front to rear. maybe thats why the gp corners like a *** (76 t/a steering box and sway bar)
