69 GTO Body Mount Bushiings
Does anyone know where I can find detailed information on how to access, remove, and replace old worn out body bushings? I have never done this so I need step by step details. For example, does the car need to be on lift? Wheels on ground? Engine lifted or seats removed? Etc.. Etc...

Copy and paste:
http://www.chevelles.com/techref/body_bushings.pdf
It shows an El Camino but is helpful.

Good post ID! Fortunately my Tempest fell into the "Best Case" scenario and I was able to remove every bolt with a 1/2" ratchet. I'm not gloating! Sooner or later everyone gets lucky! If you saw the pics of my 79 Formula floor repair/subframe mount replacement project, you know that I suffered the worst case scenario with that car. Steve
A little help... 'cause we don't all have to learn the hard way!

I felt pretty lucky when only 2 bolts refused to come out on the GTO.had to cut off heads to get body off .Captured nuts broke loose.I would suggest drilling small holes through floor above bolts and soak with penetrating fluid before trying to remove.
