i am starting the resto of my 1971 G/P and do not know how to remove the bottom portion of rear seat. Help

Welcome, ponchopete.
You have to push rearward on the front edge, then pull up to disengage the wire frame from the sheetmetal hook on the floor. Theres no bolts, the other end is just slots not hooks so it pulls right out after you unhook it.
