helloit would be helpful to know exactly what the options are on the car. there is no one source of info for this unless one has a book which i do not. one problem is that supposedly the paint codes on 64-69 cars were 2v letters, 1 for bottom and one for top. you have too many paint codes. the 69 1/2 - 73 were akllso nnumbers and not letters. this leads me to suspect a fake 66 cowl tag with 66 paint codes in a 68 1/2 - 73 format.do you have a photo of the tag and the attaching rivets?does tag say acc on the bottomis there any separation in the bottom set of numbers? they do not match any special order codes.gm rpo codeshttp://www.longroof.info/pdf/rpo.pdf
If you read the small print at the bottom of page two of the PPG refinish chip book for 1966 Pontiac at this link ...http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1966-Pontiac-pg02.jpg... it may help to explain why theres no good explanation for what ended up on the cowl tag. Some special colors didn't really have codes.
Do you have the PHS docks ? The paint code should be on there .
HiI will order the phs docs.Mikael
