Picked up a 72 C/S (Casper Supplement) yesterday. For $900. what was I supposed to do?It's unbelievably solid and pretty much all original. The guy said throw a battery in and it'll run, sure enough, it runs.
Traitor, you could have smacked a Pontiac emblem on it, or at the very least screwed on some poncho rims before you slapped this pic on here. I guess there's nothen wrong with jumpen on a good deal but be more subtle when you show us, lol.Sounds like a great deal!
Poncho huggen gear snatchen posi piro.
Nice find C, one more for the collection!
What if I told you guys the A/C even works? Seriously!
Nice bus, I had a 70 SX and loved it.

I suppose it's only proper to show you guys the bad side. This thing is solid as a rock.Interior needs a little help.350 Rocket under the hood.Wouldn't make a bad summer beater at all. A man has to protect his Pontiacs.
Thats bitchun! I sold my old 72 a couple years back. I was sad about it. Love Gutlesses and old cars in general.
idrivejunk:Thats bitchun! I sold my old 72 a couple years back. I was sad about it. Love Gutlesses and old cars in general. You should check out the Phoenix area Craigslist. Cars are coming out of the woodwork because of that Barrett Jackson auction right now.
wow.... oil the hood hinges.. so they don't bend or break.. do it with the hood half way open... and wiggle, jiggle it up and down a few times..look at the water pump.. see if its been changed.. if it has not go deeper and also change out the nylon toothed timing chain set.. throw a steering wheel cover on it.. what a great car.. looks like you could get a LOT of rubber in the wheel wells.. 15x8s on the rear.. 15x7s on the front.. perhaps even plus sized rims.. perhaps the sway bars off a late 80s rear wheel drive caddy.. nice and thick.. since this seems to be in the arizona area.. please be sure to replace the probably worn out and torn air cleaner mounting gasket.. felpro Part Number: 60038 Notes: 5 1/32" inner for the quadrajetfelpro Part Number: 5292 Notes: 3 1/2" Inner diameter x 3 9/16" Outside diameter. for the 2G 2barrel carb..
I've got Firebird parts scattered from one end of my garage to the other right now. I'll probably just park it in the backyard and sit on it for a few.
well i would have let it pass but if ac works i would have grabed it for the wife
Wow... My wife wouldn't be caught dead in that car with or without A/C. There's a benefit to that, lol.As much as I'd like to put this one together I'll probably off it and buy some Pontiac parts when the time is right.Meanwhile I have a bench seat for the backyard.
Would make for a comfy porch swing too!
Still cheaper than the Cad CTS my wife wants
Possibilities are endless. A/C parts should fit my 73 Formula. Just put a chain & timing cover on that one yesterday. Felt good to take it for a cruise, been sitting a while.
