Hello Has any one used a summit oil pan for a Pontiac 400? Just wondering what kind of quality they are. thanks for your help
I havent used that pan before still running original. I live 25 mins from summit In Ga. I have a friend of mine that works there and he told me mostly all summit brand stuff is made by top manufactuers. Like summits cold air intakes made by BBK. Summit brand stuff isnt bad at all, affordable.

Yes the summit pans fit very nice. And a great bargin. And have a small baffle. You can't beat it. Go for it
i would just check pan to oil pump pick up clearance. recommended clearance is around 3/8" i think.
The only tricky part is if you run a windage tray and arp main studs (same issue with stock pan). But can be clearanced with a little work on the windage tray.
Thanks I think I will give it a go can't beat the price.I Had a jack slip and caved in my pan, thanks again
