Hey guy's Sold the Beaumont and can now move forward with the goat. Looking to buy interior kit, my question is have any of you used unassembled door panels for the 68-72 cars and if so how difficult was it? Thanks for any input.
They don't come with the upper door panel brace (steel part ) you have to take them to a upholstery shop and have them installed ,they also put the chrome on for you .That's what I did on both of my cars . I never tried it before I don't know how hard it would be to do yourself ?
here are some articles on door panels similar to what you have...http://www.superchevy.com/technical/sucp_1207_el_camino_chevelle_door_panels/http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techarticles/interior/mopp_0609_dash_pad_restoration/oh... and it does not matter that its a mopar article.. its the Knowledge learned
Thank's for link Wayne.Think'n I'll just buck up for assembled ones.Any feedback on maufacture's would be appreciated
